This walkway into Jesus College is called the Chimney, and leads to the tudor gatehouse into First Court. To the right the Master's Lodge can be seen. The college was founded in 1496 by John Alcock, 27th Bishop of Ely, yet some of the oldest parts of the buildings date back to the very early 13th century when there was convent on the site.
